Lunchtime Clubs
School of the Good Shepherd lunchtime clubs for kids are run every lunchtime for 20 minutes and provide a variety of activities for the students to do during their break.
The clubs are run by volunteers such as classroom teachers, parents and other members of the school community. The clubs are an opportunity for students to socialise with other students, develop strong friendships, use social skills and to engage in things that interest them. Student voice is seeked to see what clubs interest the students and they change every term. Some of these include passive play activities such as Reading, Chess or Meditation and more active activities such as Gardening, Board Games, Dance, Minecraft or Lego Construction.
